My Story

I am   always glad to introduce myself to new people.  I grew up in a broken home, not do to divorce, but do to death. Losing both parents before I  turned 19, leaving me to help raise my  younger two siblings and put myself through college.  My story is one I love sharing because every time I share it I get excited to do more.  I believe that we write our legacy through our daily life, therefore even those who were consider the underdogs of life or most likely  to not succeed can change their story daily and Win in life. I have been an entrepreneur since 1998. 

After pursuing a degree in Social Work, I  desired to have my own Non-Profit Community Service agency. I didn't know how this would come about because a year after graduation I chose to get married and eventually go into full time Ministry with my husband (Bishop Stanley M. Williams). Not seeing that this would  launch for me a greater opportunity to start and build my legacy of being a Community Service Leader.  In 1998 I started West Jacksonville Restoration Center Inc., a Community Service agency. While building West Jacksonville Restoration Center,  I also managed and maintained, my family,  and other businesses, as well as worked in ministry full time. 

In the past 30 years I have owned a variety of businesses including salons, boutiques, online sales, a Private School, and even recently a skincare line for ethnic skin. I am the host a national talk show, "Conversations With Denise". I host a annual Women Conference entitled "Generations" and in 2020 I held my first annual  Business Retreat for Women entitled "The High Table". The High table is a retreat where I spend time training women to Start, Stay Succeed as a woman in business and entrepreneur.  I train women to have the courage to get started. I teach them how to focus on their business goals so that they learn how to stay the course so that they will succeed in their business. "We must get started in what we believe for in order to find our path to stay on as we head into our success."

For over 30 years I  have mentored women in  the areas of  their personal life, career,  family and as business owners.

I am  a author. I  has written several books and workbooks to help people become better at what they do. To help them to organize and polish their lives so that as they get opportunities they will be prepared to keep the door open and build from that position.

I live by my mantra "She Believed She Could, So She Did". I literally believe that "Believing is Seeing" and if I can Believe it, I can See it. When I gets it in my spirit, I can do it and will have it!  My true desire is to leave an impact by mentoring and teaching women  and young people for business, family, ministry and the un-expectancies  that life throws at us.

I have been married for 37 years and have two adult children and who both have their own children now. My children are a meaningful part of my Legacy because I believe in impacting generations in a way that is positive and encourages them to do the same. My children  work with me and my husband  fulltime  in  ministry and at our Private school. I am leaving a legacy of a strong Christian family that works together to impact our community, church, and society.

I am purposed to help women and young adults build and leave a Legacy that will be talked about for years to come. Some may even end up in history books as many other great women have. I have helped many women and youth find their true path to success in family, career, business development, school and in their life's calling.

This is why I want to be  a speaker for your next event. I will leave your group, conference, youth  group or colleagues excited and encouraged to begin building their legacy making  an impact in the world. My story is one that lets everyone know that underdogs can win in life no matter what challenges they face.
